The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam, TTD has made elaborate arrangements for the smooth conduct of auspicious `Ratha Sapthami' fete. The management has taken all steps to meet the additional crowd expected to converge at the shrine from the nearby areas.

The Lord Venkateswara along with His two consorts Sridevi and Bhudevi, would be taken around in colourful processions, as many as 7 times around the four mada streets of the shrine.

Thousands of devotees congregated at the spot for a glimpse of the scene braving the biting cold on the hill- station. The procession began at the shrine this morning, where the presiding deity was carried out in a Surya-Prabha vahanam.
