Unable to handle the gruesome murders of her parents and the ensuing scandal, a 16-year-old student committed suicide on Wednesday, by jumping off the roof of a corporate college. Prasanna's death comes after her parents, Narla Srinivasa Rao and Satyavathy, were hacked to death in 2009 by M. Rajesh who was stalking her sister Anusha.

Rajesh was jailed for life earlier this month. According to Police, Prasanna's friends said she had made a phone call from an STD booth during the lunch hour. A little later, she went to the fourth floor of her college building and jumped off. She was rushed to a corporate hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
