State will aid NGOs working for poor: Kiran

* Rotary Club lauded for donating benches worth over 60 lakh to government schools
The government would extend cooperation to voluntary organisations working for the development of poor people in the State, said Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy on Thursday. Addressing schoolchildren after presenting 2,950 benches to 83 government schools in the city and its neighbouring districts, he asked children to focus on studies as it would help them on all fronts.
He lauded Rotary Club for donating benches worth over Rs. 60 lakh to the government schools in Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy, Medak and Nalgonda districts. Rotary Club District Governor Rajya Lakshmi Vadlamani explained about several community developmental projects taken up by the organisation.
