Telangana Rashtra Samiti president K.Chandrasekhar Rao has threatened to file a defamation suit against Telugu Desam MP N. Harikrishna following the latter's allegation against him that he had earned thousands of crores of rupees in the name of Telangana. Reacting to the open letter written by Mr. Harikrishna targeting him and TRS, Mr. Rao warned the former to take back his words or prove them.

Mr. Rao told a press conference that the comments of Mr. Harikrishna were borne out of frustration over a major influx into TRS from TDP, developing cracks in the latter. He said it was all over for TDP in Telangana because people had recognised that it was a party representing the interests of coastal districts.
