Fee reimbursement : TDP stages protest

Leaders and activists of the Telugu Desam Party participated in protest programmes all over Krishna district on Friday, demanding that the government release fee reimbursement arrears to private engineering colleges immediately.
TDP district president and Mylavaram MLA Devineni Umamaheswara Rao, urban president Vallabhaneni Vamsi Mohan, state organising secretary Bonda Umamaheswara Rao and other leaders took part in the protest held at the sub-collector\'s office. Leaders of the CPI too participated in the agitation.
Addressing the protest camp in the city, Devineni Umamaheswara Rao said that the TDP would intensify the agitation if the Government did not release the fee reimbursement arrears for candidates of SC, ST, BC and minority categories studying in engineering colleges.
