Mild-mannered Agriculture Minister Y S Vivekananda Reddy became furious on Friday at Praja Rajyam Party president Chiranjeevi, albeit indirectly, for making allegations of corruption against his brother and former chief minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy.

Making an indirect reference to Chiranjeevis comment that corruption was at its worst during the reign of YSR and that he had started the PRP only to fight against YSRs corruption, Vivekananda Reddy said he would launch a counter attack against those who tried to tarnish his family's image.

I will not tolerate such allegations against YSR or any of his family members, whether they are made by leaders, even if they are from the Congress party. Just because somebody wants to blame Jaganmohan Reddy, he cannot make baseless allegations against YSR, Viveka told the media in Kadapa.
