Security at the chief minister's camp office in Begumpet has been fortified in view of various agitations in the state capital. Nearly seven-feet barricades with meshes have been erected, by the R&B department, all along the Begumpet road that overlooks the CM's camp office on Sunday.

This will make it impossible for anyone to enter the route that leads to the CM's camp office. Till now, a two-and-half feet divider was put in place to allow convoy of the chief minister and other dignitaries to pass through unhindered. Recently, a group of DSC candidates tried to make their way into the camp office but were prevented at Monappa island and caned by police.
