T-Congress MLAs facing the heat More than two dozen

Telangana Congress MLAs are leaving for New Delhi today, to urge the central leadership to make a statement acceptable to the people of the region, in wake of pressure on them at the grass roots level.
The unsavoury incidents during the just-concluded Rachabanda mass contact programme, which saw people in the region boycotting the meetings in over 1900 gram panchayats and the non-cooperation call given by the employees associations has only brought further pressure on them.
Congress MLA G. Venkataramana Reddy told reporters on Sunday that, they would meet the central leaders including the members of the Congress Core committee and explain the prevailing political situation in the region.
