T-Congress MPs, MLAs leave for Delhi

Several Telangana Congress MPs, MLAs and MLCs left for New Delhi on Monday to mount pressure on the party leadership to announce its stand on the creation of a separate Telangana State during the budget session of Parliament.
A majority of the 11 MPs, over 25 MLAs and seven MLCs left for the Capital seeking an appointment with senior Congress leaders like Ahmed Patel and A.K. Antony to represent their issue. They are likely to stay put till they secure an audience from the leadership. The MPs and MLAs are convinced that the party will not be in a position to introduce a Bill during the current session, but they are firm on impressing the leadership the need to take a clear stand on the issue.
