State Minister for textiles, Mr.Shankar Rao on Tuesday, directed the officials of government departments, to purchase their uniforms from APCO. Otherwise, the Minster warned of serious action on the employee who doesn't follow the direction. Mr.Rao highlighted that, the regulation was enforced as most of textile workers in state are dependent on handlooms.

Indirectly referring to the allegations that, there were ruling party leaders behind bogus weavers societies, he made it clear that no one would spared in the matter. Reacting on the PRP alliance with Congress, The Minister said Mr.Chiranjeevi would work like a vitamin to Congress. He expressed that the 125 year old national party would be strengthened by the merger of PRP.
