Congress MP Madhu Yaskhi on Saturday lost his cool at a lawyers' conference here when he shouted at a person for questioning his commitment to separate Telangana. A member of the crowd interrupted Mr. Madhu's address to ask him how he could be trusted any more after having given several assurances about resignation to his post in the past.

He took on Mr. Madhu when the latter referred to the demand for resignation of political leaders from various quarters. The MP said he was willing to resign instantly if it was true that separate Telangana would not be a reality. At this, the person who identified himself as a voter of Mr. Madhu in Nizamabad, got up and said every leader made the same promise.

They cheated public in the name of Telangana. They could not be trusted any more. Mr. Madhu immediately silenced the man with harsh language and continued his speech. He criticised Ministers from Telangana for their double-speak on the issue, changing tunes before and after assuming posts.
