Centre, State indecisive on Telangana: CPI

CPI State secretary K. Narayana attributed the on-going political crisis in the State, to unkept promises of Congress government and the indecisiveness of the Central government.
Addressing a press conference on Sunday, he was of the view that the Union Government is dragging the issue of Telangana indefinitely without taking a concrete decision.
He asserted that, even after Srikrishna Committee submitted its report to the government almost two months ago, the government is sitting over it and is whiling away time. Commenting on the dubious role of Governors in the country, he demanded the abolishment of the institution of Governor.
On the failure of Opposition parties in moving a no-confidence motion in the Assembly, he said that every political party has its own agenda and did not thing it as the failure of the Opposition.
