48-hour Telangana bandh from today
A 48-hour bandh spread over today & tomorrow, will be organised by Telangana joint action committee with the support of TRS, BJP, TDP & CPI as part of a non-cooperation movement demanding separate Telangana.
The JAC has proposed to go ahead with the bandh, with the participation of trade unions that were not active in heeding to similar calls in the past. Among them are a majority unions of RTC which extended their support to the JAC chairman M. Kodandaram.
