Normal life in the State capital is likely to be disrupted as the 48-hour Telangana bandh called by the political Joint Action Committee commences today. Many private educational institutions including professional colleges have already declared holidays, while JNTU and Osmania University have rescheduled a few examinations.

According to a press release, JNTU postponed its MBA and B.Tech examinations scheduled to be held today & tomorrow, to March 4 and 5. Similarly, Osmania University's statistics practical examinations for undergraduate courses scheduled were postponed. The revised dates are to be announced later.
