Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy has appealed to the students, political parties and employees, to wait for Centre's decision on Telangana. The Chief Minister said that the State was not in a position to do anything until the Centre took a decision on the issue.

However, he gave a longer reply in the Council when he urged the political parties, to express their opinions at the all-party meeting to be convened by the Centre shortly. Mr. Kiran appealed to the students to concentrate on their studies and employees on their work. He said Telangana was not a new issue and was there for the past 50 years.
