Lagadapati raises Tri-Valley varsity issue in Parliament

Vijayawada MP Lagadapati Rajagopal has raised the issue of the California-based Tri-Valley University that has been closed. Mr. Rajagopal, said that he brought up the subject in Parliament in the zero hour. He said that 1,500 students admitted to the university were from India and nearly 1,000 were from Andhra Pradesh.
He said that the university had suddenly closed down and the Indian students had been left in the lurch. The Indian embassy should also engage an advocate to provide the students who were taking refuge in different parts of the country proper guidance and protection.
