Centre asked to end uncertainty in State

Senior BJP leader Bandaru Dattatreya has urged the Centre to put an end to the uncertain atmosphere prevailing in the State by announcing its decision on Telangana formation as there was a constitutional crisis with the government's functioning coming to a standstill. At a press conference here on Sunday, he said the executive was fully paralysed since the non-cooperation movement launched by the employees.
Similarly, the legislature was also not functioning. The situation was extra- ordinary as the Textiles Minister Shankar Rao himself staged a protest near the Secretariat, he said. Mr. Dattatreya demanded that the government ensure that salaries were paid to the employees on March 1 on the basis of registers prepared for January. The BJP leader urged all parties to stage protests in front of the treasury offices if the administration failed to pay the salaries.
