Rayapati predicts Presidents rule

Senior Congress leader and Guntur MP, Mr Rayapati Sambasiva Rao said on Sunday that the agitation in Telangana region would lead to Presidents rule in the state and found fault with the union home minister, Mr P. Chidambaram for the present turmoil in the state. He said that it was incorrect on the part of Mr Chidambaram for making a statement in December last over the formation of a separate Telangana state.
The MP met the union minister of state for railways, Mr Muniyappa, at the divisional railway office and later interacted with newsmen. The MP said separate Telangana state could not be achieved by way of agitations. He predicted Presidents rule in the state if the agitation continued unabated. He expressed displeasure in front of the union minister Mr Muniyappa saying injustice was meted out to Andhra Pradesh.
