The police is worried that Telangana activists would indulge in sabotage during their proposed rail roko on Tuesday to paralyse the main trunk lines to Chennai, Delhi Bengaluru and Visakapatnam. Meanwhile, the Telangana Joint Action Committee has decided to shorten its rail roko to 12 hours from 6 am to avoid risk to commuters and agitators in the night. The SCR also decided to decrease trains speed from 120 kmph to 50 kmph and has also advised drivers to be more cautious.
