On the occassion of Maha Shivaratri all holy shrines of lord shiva are filled with devotees. The devotees have started coming to visit lord shiva from the early hours of the day. As a part of maha shivaratri higher authorities of kapileshwar temple have started brahmotsavams. Arrangements for the brahmotsavas are made grandly and these will be conducted for 7 days. There also a special abhishekam that will be performed on this auspicious day. Temples are decorated very beautifully.
