Revenue collection severely hit
With the non - cooperation' movement by the telangana employees, the administration has come to a standstill. Revenue collections, expected to the tune of Rupees 110 crore, stood at Rs.10 crore.
This includes collections from Revenue, Excise,Registration and other key departments. The worst effected due to the non-cooperation are the pension beneficiaries.
The work regarding pension distribution has not yet commenced, forcing about 3 lakh beneficiaries to wait till the agitation is withdrawn. Another important wing that has been receiving the blow of the agitation is that of Civil Supplies Department.
