* Cock fighting racket busted in Warangal

An illegal cock-fight which was taking place in broad daylight in Warangal district was busted by the police personnel, on Wednesday. The district police have arrested 9 persons on the charge of betting on cock fighting and seized cash, cellular phones & cock birds.

According to police statement, the raids were conducted on receiving information that betting on cock fighting was organized in the region. And, It was reported that the miscreants involved in the wagering, were from Prakasam district.
