Advocates from the Telangana region stormed the residence of the Congress MP, Mr Kavuri Sambasiva Rao, in Banjara Hills area, on Wednesday protesting the proposed meeting of the Seemandhra political representatives.

The Panjagutta police arrested 40 advocates as a preventive measure. The Telangana Advocate Joint Action Committee co-convenor, Mr T.Sriranga Rao to give an eight-page representation to Mr Sambasiva Rao and request him to not curtail the formation of Telangana.

Following the unmindful of the dharna in front of his residence, Mr Sambasiva Rao strongly criticised the Telangana leaders. He said that if the T - leaders were so sincere about the statehood issue, they must resign from their posts and put pressure on the Union government.
