Telangana, Seemandhra TDP MLAs ready to quit

Telugu Desam legislators belonging to Andhra Rayalaseema and Telangana regions held parallel meetings in separate rooms at the TD Legislature Party office and offered to resign their posts for their respective causes.
The Seemandhra MLAs, who earlier stalled the Assembly proceedings by raising slogans, made it clear that they would continue it tomorrow too in deference to the wishes of the people of the region.
But their Telangana counterparts led by Nagam Janardhan Reddy found fault with them for holding placards in the House. Speaking on behalf of Seemandhra MLAs, G. Muddukrishnama Naidu said people in the region were asking them why they were not raising their voice in favour of united Andhra Pradesh. They were prepared for any sacrifice including resignations.

Don't post rude or nasty comments. Ethnic slurs, personal insults and abuses are rather uncool. Criticise, but know where to draw the line. No point putting in personal details or links, we won't publish them. |
