MRPS to lay siege to MLAs' houses on March 13

The Madiga Reservation Porata Samiti has chalked out a two-month agitation plan to press its demand for introduction of Scheduled Castes categorisation bill in the ongoing session of Parliament.
A delegation of MRPS led by Manda Krishna called on Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan here on Thursday and requested him to impress upon the Centre, particularly the Prime Minister, about the need for categorise SCs for purposes of reservation in employment and education.
Speaking to mediapersons later, Mr. Krishna stated that the Governor had assured them of taking the issue to the notice of the Centre. Giving details of the agitation till May 2, the MRPS leader said they would lay siege to the houses of all MLAs in the State on March 13 followed by Chalo Assembly' by the students wing on March 14, women's wing on March 22 and youth wing on March 25.
