The Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen on friday held a dharna at the Chaderghat Police Station demanding to shutdown the number of increasing wine belts, bars, clubs and pubs in the city. Speaking at the stir point, Malakpet MLA Ahmed Balal alleged that the Police has failed to put a check on the number of illegal activites that are taking place at these socialisng points. The MLA demanded the higher officials to act responsibly in curbing such activites.
