Get Sonia's appointment for us, Ministers tell Kiran
A group of Telangana Ministers on Sunday urged the Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy, to contact the central leadership and fix an appointment for them with AICC president Sonia Gandhi to discuss the statehood issue.
Over half a dozen Ministers met Mr. Kiran Kumar Reddy at the Camp Office and said he should take the initiative to get the appointment fixed. The Ministers planned to visit New Delhi before 12th, to meet the party leadership with an appeal to expedite a decision on Telangana.
The Chief Minister is said to have told the Ministers that they should convince the Congress MLAs from the region to withdraw their boycott call and attend the Assembly.
