Telangana Political Joint Action Committee Convenor Kodandaram made it clear that the proposed rally would be organized peacefully in the capital today. Earlier, Prof. Kodandaram stated that the Million March will be organized after the completion of intermediate examination scheduled on March 10th.

He said that the leaders from Telangana will take a pledge to unite and fight for a separate statehood at the Tank Bund at 4 pm on March 10th, where the Million March will culminate. Prof. Kodandaram said that the March will not cause any inconvenience to students, and asked the police not to obstruct failing which the warned of dire consequences. He called upon all Telangana activists to participate widely in the Million March and make it a grand success.
