With the Telangana Joint Action Committee deciding to go ahead with its proposed Million March today, the city and Cyberabad police have imposed prohibitory orders banning all types of processions and dharnas in the city and warned of stern action.

City police commissioner AK Khan, said the prohibitory orders were imposed in view of the planned seizure of the state capital by a large number of agitators which is likely to create law and order problem in the twin cities.

Cops also prohibited all kinds of gatherings, rallies and public meetings on roads in the twin cities. Meanwhile the police held thorough checks in many telangana regions and arrested protestors. The prohibitory orders would be in force till tomorrow.
