Pro-Telangana march paralyzes the city

The pro-Telangana ' Million March to Hyderabad ' on Thursday hit normal life in the state capital as the administration imposed numerous restrictions to prevent the agitation. Traffic restrictions were enforced since the morning hours and strict monitoring was kept in people arriving from pro-Telangana parts into the city.
Prohibitory orders under section 144 Cr-PC has been promulgated in the capital city, banning rallies, processions or even assembly of people. Office-goers had a harrowing time in reaching their destinations as most of the routes were closed since morning. Students appearing for intermediate second year examinations also had a tough time in reaching examination centres on time despite leaving home early as most routes were closed by traffic police.
