Ambati alleges intimidation of Jagan followers

Former MLA Ambati Rambabu has alleged that the government is intimidating the supporters of former Kadapa MP Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy by implicating them in criminal cases, as it happened to
Y. Narasimha Reddy who has been accused of stoning a private bus during the bandh organised on February 23.
Mr. Narasimha Reddy and eight students were imprisoned for three days on the basis of a complaint in which the bus driver had mentioned that a single unidentified person broke a glass pane of the vehicle whereas the police allegedly forged the driver's signature and foisted the case against Mr. Narasimha Reddy and eight others, who came out on bail subsequently.
Addressing a press conference on Thursday, Mr. Rambabu it was apparently the handiwork of some Congress leaders who did not want active persons like Mr. Narasimha Reddy to strengthen the upcoming party of Mr. Jaganmohan Reddy, he alleged.
