Telangana Ministers put off Delhi visit till May

* Fail to get replies to their letters to Manmohan Singh , Sonia Gandhi
The proposed visit to New Delhi of Ministers belonging to the Telangana region has been put off till May. They were planning to leave on Friday night to seek an appointment with Congress president Sonia Gandhi and other leaders the following day.
However, they decided on Thursday to defer the tour till May on the ground that the central leadership would be busy with the Assembly elections in five States. The Telangana Ministers had written letters last week to the Prime Minister and Ms. Gandhi seeking time to explain the political developments but they have not received any response. Two Ministers K. Jana Reddy and Basawaraj Saraiah were at pains to convince the media that they had not backed out.
