* Former MP's party flag to be unfurled today

YSR Congress Party is the name zeroed in on by former Congress MP Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy for his new political party. A tricolour flag of the YSR Congress Party' will be unfurled at Idupulapaya at 2.29 p.m. on Saturday.

Announcing this at a public meeting on Friday, Mr. Jagan said that the flag would be released by himself and his mother Y.S. Vijayalakshmi at a simple programme. A three-day plenary of the new party would also be conducted after the by-election to Kadapa Parliamentary seat.

Jagan Said, that the party's agenda is to wipe the tears of the poor and make them smile. Mr. Jagan was elected as the national president of YSR Congress Party last month and the Election Commission informed about the changes in the party office-bearers. Addressing a large crowd, Mr. Jagan thanked everyone for extending their support to him.
