A conspiracy case was registered against TRS chief K.Chandrasekhar Rao, Telangana Joint Action Committee Chairman M. Kodandaram, legislator T. Harish Rao and others in connection with violence on Tank Bund, said DCP Akun Sabharwal. In all, police booked 16 cases, including an attempt to murder case for attacking police and vandalising statues during the 'Million March' on Tank Bund.

While two cases were registered in Chikkadpally police station, others were booked in Gandhinagar station. Cases were registered under Sections 147, 148, 332 , 427 and 435 read with 149 along with Section 3 and 4 of Prevention of Damage to the Public Property and Section 7(1) of Criminal Law Amendment Act.
