Former Congress leader Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy on Saturday launched a political party of his , own to work for the people of Andhra Pradesh. Accompanied by his mother Vijayalakshmi, former legislator, and other family members, the young leader formally launched the party, at the grave of his father - late Chief Minister YSR Reddy - at Idupulapaya in Kadapa district.

The party flag will have three colours - saffron, green and white- with a turbaned YSR in the centre. Hundreds of supporters, including Congress MP Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy and about a dozen legislators supporting Jagan, were present at the unveiling ceremony.
