APCC president D. Srinivas has said that Telangana Rashtra Samiti president K. Chandrasekhar Rao was 'knocking the wrong doors' in his pursuit of separate Telangana State and then blaming the Congress for his failures. He said Mr. Rao was holding frequent parleys with senior BJP leaders L.K. Advani and Sushma Swaraj when the Congress - led United Progressive Alliance alone had the power to take a decision on separate Telangana.
Talking to reporters here on Tuesday, Mr.Srinivas said TRS president had not taken any initiative to meet the Congress president since the 2009 elections. The TRS should, instead, mount pressure on AICC president Sonia Gandhi, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and other senior leaders to take a speedy decision on the issue, he said.
