The Andhra Pradesh Assembly was adjourned for the day as Opposition Telugu Desam Party legislators rushed to the podium and raised slogans demanding a Joint Legislature Committee probe into the illegal land allotment by the Congress Government to Brahmani Infotech Private Limited at Shamshabad Airport in the city.

The Congress Government, during Y S Rajasekhara Reddy Regime, has allegedly alienated 250 acres of land worth Rs 3000 crore to Brahmani for development of IT hubs including IT Special Economic Zones.

The management of the firm is allegedly with the associates of Former Kadapa MP Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy. The House could not transact any business yesterday and was adjourned after the TDP legislators created pandemonium on the issue and demanded that the government constitute a JLC.
