On the other side due to the on-going agitations in the state, the APSRTC suffered loss of Rs 150 crore. According to the officials no financial assistance was coming from the government. The corporation was incurring losses due to continuous agitations in the state cpaital.

To avoid inconvenience to passengers and local communters, APSRTC is planning to introduce 2000 new buses by replacing old ones and ploy mini-buses in the state capital soon, the officials said.
