BJP has demanded that the government order a high-level judicial inquiry into the irregularities' committed by the promoters of Emaar Properties which has been allotted 535 acres in Nanakramguda. BJP State president G. Kishan Reddy told reporters on Sunday, that the party wanted the inquiry to cover land allotments made to private companies in the name of development since 1999. The government should cancel all the agreements it entered into with Emaar Properties besides scrapping the registrations of properties that the firm sold to influential people' at prices much lower than the existing market rates.
