The general body meeting of the Zilla Parishad was adjourned without transacting any business. As soon as the meeting began, the ZPTC members of all the political parties raised slogans in favour of separate Telangana State & said they were boycotting the meeting, demanding that the Centre table a bill paving way for the separate statehood to the region. The employees too boycotted their duties and, the district Collector Rahul Bojja and in-charge CEO Bhima Naik too walked away.
