TDP, TRS trade charges in Assembly
The media point on the Assembly premises again became a platform for sharp exchanges, hurling of challenges and accusations between TDP MLA Devineni Umamaheswara Rao and TRS floor leader Eatela Rajender on Monday.
Mr. Rao started off by accusing the TRS president K. Chandrasekhar Rao with coming to a secret understanding with Chief Minister to allow cross-voting in the recent Council elections and then making scapegoats of three MLAs.
Hurling another allegation of making money in the name of Telangana sentiment, he demanded the Central government and State government to order a CBI inquiry into amassing of wealth by Mr. Rao. Mr. Rajender dared Mr. Umamaheswara Rao to a debate at an open forum in Hyderabad and to be prepared for facing consequences.
