The State Assembly, which was adjourned for 15 minutes during
Question Hour after the CPI and CPI(M) members pressed for a statement from the government on the problems faced by the people from Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes in the State, was later adjourned for the day, 120 minutes before its schedule time following the TDP members demanding a JLC into land allotments.

As soon as the House assembled for the day, Deputy Speaker Nadendla Manohar announced disallowing of adjournment motions given notices of CPI's G Mallesh and Jullakanti Ranga Reddy from CPI(M) on the need to discuss the fast undertaken by CPI(M) Politburo Member B V Ragahavulu on the problems of Dalits and Girijans and G Kishan Reddy of BJP on the need to release scholarships and fee reimbursement to the students.

Earlier, Congress members from Telangana Region rushed to the Well and raised Pro-Telangana slogans. However, they resumed their seats following an appeal from Mr Manohar.
