'Earth Hour' to be observed today

The World today will observe Earth Hour. All the individuals and organisations are requested to switch off lights and fans between 8.30 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. All the electrical lights and appliances to be turned off for one hour in a global effort to create awareness about the adverse impact of excessive energy consumption on the environment.
