Industries celebrated the 64th Independence Day here amid patriotic spirit with a vow to achieve excellence in productivity. Rich tributes were paid to the martyrs who laid down their lives for the country's independence. Pledges were administered for achieving better performance by focusing on quality and cost-effectiveness.

CMD of RINL-VSP P.K. Bishnoi took the salute at the celebrations held at Ukkunagaram. In his address, he stated that it was the bounden duty of everyone to pay tribute to the great souls who had sacrificed their lives for the nation's independence because of whom all the citizens were breathing an air of freedom.
