Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy said that the government would finance the tenant farmers. Speaking further, he said the government has taken steps for introduction of system of issuing loan eligiblity and other benefit cards to enable the tenant farmers to avail crop loan from banks and also other benefits.

He said this initiative of the government was the first of its kind in the country. KKR added, the Act would protect the interests of both land owners and tenant farmers, and requested all bankers to provide loans to the tenant farmers without any apprehensions.
