Former MP from Kadap Y. S. Jaganmohan Reddy will keep the Odarpu Yatra on hold for sometime as the Election Commission on wednesday announced that by-elections to Pulivendula Assembly and Kadapa Parliamentary constituencies will be held on May 8.

The announcement has set the stage for an interesting contest as Jagan and his mother Vijayamma are expected to contest on the YSR Congress Party ticket. On the other hand, the Congress is still scouting for a suitable candidate. Meanwhile on Wednesday the young leader consoled the breaved families of the dead and unveiled the statues of his father and late CM YS Rajashekar Reddy in Vizianagaram.
