KCR dubs TDP Andhra party

Questions TDP's concern over Babli and silence over RDS Telangana Rashtra Samiti president K. Chandrasekhar Rao has said the silence of the Telugu Desam Party over the destruction of crest gates of Rajolibanda Diversion Scheme on Tungabhadra river re-establishes that the party only protects the interests of Rayalaseema-Coastal Andhra districts. Mr. Rao questioned the concern of the TDP over construction of Babli project by Maharashtra while maintaining silence over RDS within the State.
Appealing to the TDP cadre in Telangana to quit the party and join the TRS, he said there was no point for them to remain in TDP as it would continue to perpetrate injustices in the region. He had himself quit the TDP a decade ago unable to see such atrocities. He asked TDP activists to introspect as to why they should remain in the party, especially when a major movement for separate Telangana was to unfold after December.
