A meeting of several Telangana organisations on Sunday decided to ensure that the agitation for a separate State, was focussed at the national level by taking up various programmes in New Delhi this month.

The Telangana Joint Action Committee chairman M. Kodandaram and other leaders told mediapersons after the meeting that a seminar and conference with editors of national newspapers and TV channels and a dharna at Jantar Mantar, would be organised in the capital from April 21 to 23.

The programme would be held under the aegis of the Telangana Journalists Forum. The meeting was critical of the contents of the eighth chapter of the Srikrishna Committee report which sought steps to manage the media and political parties.
