Satya Sai Baba critical, Sec. 144 in Puttaparthi

Sri Satya Sai Baba's health turned critical on Monday as for the first time since he was admitted to the Sri Satya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences on March 28, the hospital authorities stated that his condition was serious. The director of the institute, Dr A.N. Safaya, said that the Baba was still on ventilator support to help his breathing and on CRRT system to help the functioning of his kidneys.
As the news spread, devotees rushed to the Sri Satya Institute of Higher Medical Sciences and the police had to invoke Section 144 to control the irate devotees who wanted to know the actual scenario.
