Chiranjeevi to campaign for Congress in Assembly elections

Praja Rajyam Party President K. Chiranjeevi will campaign for the Congress party in the by-election to Bangarupalem Assembly constituency in Karnataka today. Union Minister of State for Railways K Muniyappa invited Mr. Chiranjeevi to campaign for the Congress, as the latter has a lot of fan following in Karnataka.
Apart from this, there is also a sizeable Telugu population in the constituency. According to party sources, the actor-turned-politician will also campaign for the Congress-DMK combine in the Assembly elections in Tamil Nadu.
